,1,THE suspect accused of murdering and beheading his father and showing off his head during an unhinged right-wing rant on YouTube bought a gun the day before the alleged crime, police have revealed.
Justin Mohn, 32, was arrested on Tuesday after his mother, Denice Mohn, called 911 to report finding her husband decapitated and covered in blood at their home.
In a press conference on Friday, police said that Justin Mohn, 32, bought a 9mm handgun in Croydon, Pennsylvania, near the family's house in Levittown, north of Philadelphia.
Police confirmed the gun, taken at the time of arrest, was missing a single round.
Cops also said that the victim, Michael Mohn, 68, was shot in the head before he was beheaded with a knife and machete.
Justin was of clear mind and had no history of mental illness, according to police.
Police also confirmed that Mohn had previously worked at Microsoft, but was currently unemployed.
Mohn was arrested nearly 100 miles from the crime scene at the Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania.
Justin's mother arrived home Tuesday evening to find her husband's body and ran to neighbors to call the police.
Middletown Township police responded to the call around 7 pm.
Upon entering the home, they found Michael's body in the first-floor bathroom and his head was inside a plastic bag in a kitchen pot placed in a first-floor bedroom.
They also found bloody rubber gloves, a machete, and a large kitchen knife in the bathtub.

,1,French farmers said they will continue protests over falling incomes, higher costs and stringent European regulations after measures unveiled Friday by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal failed to calm their anger. Attal pledged a reversal of a plan to raise taxes on farming fuel, faster disbursement of emergency funds, and big fines for companies not respecting rules on price negotiations.
He also reiterated that France opposes a trade agreement between the European Union and South American bloc Mercosur, saying the government would continue to fight the proposal, which farmers say would lead to unfair competition. The measures don’t go far enough, according to labor organizations.

The footage shows the drone tracking at least three Russian soldiers in a snow-covered urban area.
They appear to realise that they are being followed by the drone and attempt to seek shelter in a destroyed building.

,1,IDF forces recently located additional sites in the Maghazi area and between Bureij and Nuseirat. The 36th Division, Yahalom combat engineering unit, and Air Force’s Shaldag unit discovered and destroyed numerous tunnel shafts in the central Gaza area along Salah a-Din road.
These tunnels connect to an extensive network spanning hundreds of kilometers of underground passages. Notably, one tunnel shaft was found in the residence of a senior Hamas commander overseeing the rocket manufacturing operation.
The tunnels facilitated the production of rockets and weapons, as well as the transportation of munitions throughout Gaza.
The IDF also uncovered steel workshops, chemical and explosives factories, and storage sites for long-range rockets both above and below ground in Maghazi, Bureij, and Nuseirat.
