A group of radical anti-gun doctors published a report in 2017 claiming that โa child is injured with a firearm everyday in Ontario.โ Upon further inspection, it was revealed that (1) subjects used in the study were as old as twenty-four (24), and (2) a large portion of data included injuries from gang activity and toy guns (incl. Paintball, BB/Pellet guns).

Tori Dunn's father is speaking out after police revealed the suspect in his daughters murder, had a life-long criminal history, and was recently released on bail. โWe need to bring awareness to our [broken] justice system and how badly we need justice reform... Tori was a young woman minding her own business, in her own home, in a good neighbourhood. This could have been anybodyโs daughter.โ
The suspect, 40-year-old Adam Mann, did have a long criminal history, going back 25 years. โฌ๏ธ
By 2009, Mann had 22 convictions in #Ontario and was sentenced to 12 years in prison for multiple charges, including armed robbery.
After prison, sources say Mann spent time in #Edmonton before moving to British Columbia, where he was sentenced to 2 years probation in March 2024, for obstructing a peace officer and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
In late April, he was accused of 2 counts of robbery in #Vancouver, but was released on $500 bail.
On May 26th, he was accused of stabbing a woman near a #Surrey SkyTrain station.
RCMP released a photo of the accused on May 28th, the same day he was arrested for breaching his probation.
Police then say they saw Mann, wanted Canada-wide warrant for robbery, smoking crack near an entrance to an SRO (single room occupancy hotel), and detained him, but on June 5th, Mann received only 10 days in jail for the breach of probation and was released again, just days before Tori Dunn's murder.
A GoFundMe was set up for the Dunn family to help with memorial costs and any out-of-pocket expenses relating to the investigation. At the time of this post, it has received $23,165 from friends, neighbours, co-workers and others.

In the past six months, satellites in SpaceXโs Starlink megaconstellation performed nearly 50,000 collision-avoidance maneuvers, double the number from the previous half-year.
According to SpaceXโs latest Semiannual Constellation Status Report, each Starlink satellite executed its thrusters an average of 14 times to avoid collisions with other satellites, spacecraft, and space debris.
The constellation grew from about 5,100 to 6,200 satellites during this period. SpaceX also lowered its collision-avoidance threshold to one in a million, significantly more stringent than the industry standard, Space.com has reported.
