Fighting continues in Gaza, as International Court considers case

The International Court of Justice has demanded that Israel do all it can to prevent acts of genocide in its war against Hamas in Gaza, but stopped short of ordering a ceasefire. Judges in the Hague are considering a case brought by South Africa, which alleges that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians. Israel had hoped to get the case thrown out - but the court decided it will go ahead, although it could take years before there is a final ruling.
