Some 125 Palestinians were killed and 318 wounded in the past 24 hours, the ministry added. A senior US military official said that the Houthi rebels launched an explosive-laden sea drone on Jan. 4. Qatar’s Foreign Ministry condemned “in the strongest terms” Israeli statements regarding the displacement of Gaza’s population. Defence Minister Yoav Gallant told Amos Hochstein that there is “a short window of time for diplomatic understandings” to be reached with Hezbollah. ,1,South Carolina’s Republican chairman suggested on Monday that President Joe Biden’s visit to Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, was motivated by his faltering support among a core Democratic constituency: black Americans.
“The fact that he’s spending time in South Carolina, and particularly the venue there today, speaks to the fact that I think they’re worried about the continued erosion that we’ve seen among African Americans for Democrats, and particularly Joe Biden,” Drew McKissick told the Washington Examiner in an interview.
