This experts panel on The War in Ukraine and the Energy Crisis in the Light of Climate Action in Socio-Legal Impacts was session 7 of Climate Law and Governance Day 2022. This session hosted by Univ Silesia in Katowice. It was chaired by Adv Magdalena Stryja (Legal Fellow, CISDL / Univ Silesia / Polish Supreme Bar Council). As Paris Agreement representatives, observers and stakeholders gathered in Sharm El Sheikh for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) from 06-18 November 2022, Climate Law & Governance Day (CLGD) 2022 convened a community of leading law faculties and law and governance institutes, international organization counsel, government authorities, law associations, judges, professionals and others responsible for inspiring, innovating and building law, policy and governance capacity, entirely online.
